Tom Anderson Electric Guitars - Classic S Shorty - Black
SOLD. Call us for options.
The Tom Anderson Classic S Shorty is a sleek custom electric with David Gilmour-inspired features, conceived of by our own Eric Mardis - and it's instantly one of our favorite guitars. Featuring a black Alder body and black pickguard, it has a one-piece Maple neck in honor of the iconic Black Strat, as well as three Aged White single-coil pickups: Anderson's own SC1 pickups in the neck and middle positions, and an SC3 in the bridge. A versatile guitar for most players and styles, it truly sings and has a feel that makes it a real joy to play.
It has a slightly shorter scale (24 3/4") so slower Pink Floyd-ian soloing is a breeze, while the slimmer 1 11/16" nut width allows for quicker playing. It has 22 Heavy frets, chrome hardware, a Vintage Tremolo bridge, locking tuners, and the Buzz Feiten tuning system. In addition, it has a five-way toggle switch with an extra VA Booster switch, so you have even more options from its already stellar tonal palette. If you're looking for a super smooth player that can do everything from The Dark Side of the Moon to Animals to, well, anything else, then this Tom Anderson Classic S Shorty in black-on-black is a guitar you absolutely have to play. Includes hardshell case and full setup from our luthiers.
