This new Bart Reiter Buckbee Banjo is an homage to the famous Buckbee banjos that were sold all over the country during the late 19th century. This is a great banjo and gives you not only a cool, classic player, but a heck of a lot of banjo for the price. This has an 11" Maple rim stained Cherry, a rolled brass tone ring, a two-piece Cherry neck, bone nut, Planetary tuners, a geared 5th string, frailing scoop and more.
It has really cool, very minimalist guitar-style headstock with an Ebony overlay and is a great player with a 1 1/4" nut width, 17 nickel silver frets and a Five Star frosted head. The Cherry neck on this seems a little chunkier than a standard and it's a lot of fun to play.
