This BIG EAR Pedals - WOODCUTTER Distortion is a Mass Street Music exclusive featuring one of our favorite 'you're not in Kansas anymore' Ruby Red Sparkle finishes to date. This pedal from the Big Ear crew is a fresh take on some classic RAT pedal sounds. Delivering gritty, raucous distorted tones, the Woodcutter has a nice level of compression, including a really tight, usable low-end. The tone control works as a filter control, with things getting darker with the knob to the right, and brighter to the left. Great sounding gear from the Nashville based pedal builder.
