You've also got a very good rhythm guide available, and you can easily connect to your computer to import/export .wav audio files through a USB 2.0 port, as well as back up your RC-3 recordings to your computer, or load .wav files from your computer directly into the RC-3. The RC-3 accepts 16-bit/44.1kHz WAV files of up to 1.7GB in size. Recording to memory is super easy and you can start right from the beginning or hit the 'count in' for one bar of lead in time before recording kicks in. The rhythm guide has a 'library' of various rhythm files to use—plus, when you save a phrase, the rhythm type and time signature will also be saved. This little powerhouse also has an Auxillary In so sounds from a digital-audio player connected through the AUX input can be recorded and made into a loop. How cool is that? This Boss RC-3 Loop Station Pedal runs on a 9 volt, or you can use an optional AC power supply.
