This Bourgeois Vintage Mahogany OM Custom acoustic guitar has a tremendous sound with beautiful resonance thanks to the wonderful woods, old world craftsmanship and use of hide glue. This has an Adirondack Spruce top, and Mahogany back and sides, both with a gloss finish. We ordered this with hot hide glue construction as we feel it gives just that much more increased resonance - coupled with Bourgeois' scalloped bracing, you get a remarkably well-balanced instrument with nice response. Fingerstyle players as well as strummers will love the big, warm tone of this guitar.

Playability is excellent with a 1 3/4" nutwidth and a mammoth ivory nut, as well as 2 5/16" string spacing. The fingerboard is Ebony, as are the bridge pins and belly bridge. Nice details here too from the wood rosette, the black and Maple purfling, to the nickel Waverly tuners with oval buttons.
