The British Pedal Company - Professional MKII Tone Bender OC81D is a faithful reproduction of the 1966 original created by Gary Hurst and heard on countless recordings. Due to 1960s production concerns and the supply of parts this 3 transistor circuit bounced between OC75 or OC81D transistors. Thankfully B.P.C has worked to create both versions of this iconic fuzz. Here with the OC81D, this Tone Bender delivers a smoother fuzz than the MKI but with a gnarly, fuzzier-tone. A part of their Vintage Series, these pedals from B.P.C. deliver the tone and feel of some of the most iconic builds in the early history of pedals.
