Budda Amps - Superdrive 30 II Head and 2x12" Cabinet
This used Budda Superdrive 30 Series II Head and 2x12" Cabinet is arguably the most versatile head/cabinet we have in the shop right now. Nicknamed the The Dirty 30 by the crew at Budda amps, this exquisite combo can bring some seriously aggressive gain while also using a touch-sensitive circuit for more subtle applications, as well. Everything about this head and cabinet package is hand-wired, ensuring the highest quality precision and tone. It's also versatile enough to accommodate jazz and blues licks just as well as harder rock and metal riffs.
Powered by four EL84 power tubes, three 12AX7 preamp tubes, and a single 5U4 rectifier, this all-tube powerhouse can achieve some serious Manowar-level power and volume (not that we encourage that, though!), all while retaining the clarity and tonality you'd expect from a boutique amp. It has two channels and a straightforward control system, too, with Power and Standby switches, Master Volume, Bass, Mid, Treble, Drive, and Rhythm knobs, as well as a push/pull knob for a more modern mid scoop. The back panel features Send/Return Effects Loop inputs and a Slave input and control so you can hijack another amp's power for additional volume.
Not only is the 2x12" extension cabinet sporting a pair of custom Budda Phat 12 speakers, but the entire enclosure is built from solid pine along with actual finger-jointed corners - and it's this type of under-the-hood craftsmanship that can take your tone to the next level. Here in Excellent Condition with very little wear, this Budda Superdrive 30 Series II Head and 2x12" Cabinet is a truly fantastic boutique combo and includes a Budda footswitch.
