Bumgarner Guitars - 2014 Derecho - Gypsy Jazz - Craig Bumgarner is one of the foremost builders of gypsy jazz guitars in the USA today. In addition to making excellent Selmer-inspired guitars, he is known for his take on guitars made by other French luthiers. His Derecho model is inspired by the small D-hole guitars made by the Casteluccia workshop in the 1950s. This Derecho has a cedar top, Indian rosewood back and sides, and EVO frets for durability. This is a particularly loud instrument, able to cut through the noisiest of jam sessions. As is typical with this style guitar, there is a non-adjustable truss rod. There are minor dents and playwear to the finish. Includes a hardshell case.
