This Gibson Electric Guitars - 1964 Barney Kessel Standard is a guitar straddling two worlds - designed as signature archtop jazz box that sounds just as good unplugged as amplified. It's been given a second life when utilized by modern guitar icons such as Pat Smear. Featuring a Spruce top and Flamed Maple back and sides all driven by a pair of Gibson Patent Number pickups and super fast, thin neck makes this is one serious guitar. While this particular instrument does have the truss rod cover swapped out for with one declaring it a custom, this 1964 Barney Kessel is otherwise the standard version of this killer vintage guitar. Includes the original hardshell case.
