The Caroline Effect Pedals - CROM Fuzz is a BC184 Supa Tone Bender style fuzz with a tone control that acts like a tweed amp. Think muff style distortion that retains definition and punch without the scooped mid's. The Turbo switch on the side is great if going into a clean amp or if the CROM is your only distortion; flip it off for behavior similar to a classic 1970s fuzzy drive/sustainer.
