The Catalinbread - Belle Epoch Tape Echo Delay Pedal is one of the coolest Echoplex EP-3 iterations we've seen and heard - all wrapped up in a stompbox. Intended to be run at the front of you amp for the best effect, it reproduces all of the greatness from the EP-3 without all the unwieldy maintenance. A straightforward interface makes dialing-in your tone a breeze, using five simple controls: Echo Sustain, Mod, Rec Lev, Mix, and Echo Delay.

Echo Sustain controls how much delay signal is fed back into the delay line, from a fixed number of repeats to infinity and into self-oscillation. Mod sets how many random flutter effects occur during the echo. Rec Lev sets how hard the delay hits on the initial repeat and is best used with the Mix control. The Mix knob is the wet/dry signal control - essentially a passive mixer, just like on the EP-3. And finally the Echo Delay controls the delay time, from 80ms to 800ms. A killer pedal that can create effects from subtle ambience to full-on, out-of-this-world spaciness, the Catalinbread Belle Epoch Tape Echo Delay Pedal is an excellent recreation of the practically inimitable Echoplex EP-3.
