The Catalinbread Karma Suture Harmonic Fuzz Pedal is the result of combining a NOS PNP germanium transistor and NPN silicon transistor with germanium and silicon diodes - an unrelentingly awesome fuzz/overdrive/boost combo, all wrapped up in one pink box. With a simple four-knob layout, you're in control of Diodes, Density, Output, and Input. Diodes goes from an open, uncompressed, low-clipping, more low-end tone to a saturated, compressed tone with more high-end and less volume. If that sounds extreme, it kind of is - but it also gives you a ton of options to play around with. The Density knob controls the overall amount of low-end present, from a thinner, cutting bright tone, to something more dense and saturated. Output acts as a volume control to compensate for any variability, and Input adjusts the amount of gain generated between all settings.
This pedal works equally well with single-coils and humbuckers, and has amazing clarity regardless of how nasty you have it set - every note rings through the distortion, regardless of your gain settings. Here with some sweet, vintage white controls on a pink stompbox, the Catalinbread Karma Suture Harmonic Fuzz Pedal uses a standard 9V DC power supply.
