This used 1999 Collings D2H is your chance to save a bundle on a well-loved and solid instrument in Excellent condition. It does show considerable playwear, but this D2H is structurally sound and ready to go. The most notable wear is a repaired center seem crack below the bridge, a few dings through the finish on the back of the neck, finish wear near the neck binding, and a ding on the front binding (see photos). Rest assured, there is nothing that hinders playing—and it is a real joy to play. Comfortable neck, great setup, and that big Collings dread tone that makes you want to keep playing forever. The Herringbone trim is incredible, despite the bit of wear on it, not to mention the beautifully aged Sitka Spruce top and East Indian Rosewood back and sides. This 1999 Collings D2H is ready for a new home—whether on the road, in the living room, or anywhere else you need a great player. Includes a non-original hard case.
