The Julian Lage OM1 A from Collings Guitars, here in a vintage Sunburst finish, is truly something special. Not only for its fantastic tone and quality construction, but where it stands as an inflection point in the story of Collings Guitars. A signature model based on a collaboration between lauded guitarist Julian Lage and the late Bill Collings, this OM1A JL reaches a new level of vintage-inspired design at Collings and is a model which has transformed their lineup of traditional acoustic guitars.

Featuring an Adirondack spruce top paired with a Honduran Mahogany back and sides, this OM1A JL sports traditional style bracing and tone woods which are adjusted, weighed and voiced to produce particularly warm, rounded highs while maintaining a full, rich low end. The extra thin Nitrocellulose lacquer Sunburst finish, hand rubbed to a Satin appearance, is applied without a polyvinyl sealer, making for a lively, expressive top that has the feel of an old vintage guitar.

This particular OM1A JL has a full low-end with warm, rounded off highs and a very balanced mid-range that makes this a versatile OM. Includes a Collings-branded hardshell case and a free setup from our crew of luthiers.
