This OM2H from Collings is an expressive and versatile guitar, and in some ways an electric guitar player's dream come true. The OM2H is already one of the most popular models from Collings, and we've custom ordered this guitar with a cutaway, providing access up the neck for all those iconic riffs, while still being an incredible acoustic build all on its own.
Featuring a Sitka spruce top, paired with East Indian rosewood back and sides, this Orchestra Model delivers a full, deep, powerful tone out of a smaller, comfortable package. Vintage touches including herringbone purfling, a tear drop pickguard, volute and diamond/squares inlays make this a lovely nod to our favorite pre-war models. The cutaway not only provides access to the upper frets on the guitar, but is an absolutely artful display of the craftsmanship from the Collings team.
The narrow neck and nut width make it easier for an electric guitar player to transition to an acoustic build, while still being extremely comfortable for strummers and flatpickers alike who prefer the tighter string spacing.
