This outstanding Collings C10 35 SB, serial #24185, brings features of the great CJ35 to the C10 body shape - it's the first made and garnered much attention at the recent NAMM show. Here with a select Sitka Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides, it has a tight, focused tone with lovely warmth and a distinct vintage L-00 vibe. It features pre-war non-scalloped Adirondack bracing with two tone bars and an abbreviated tongue brace. The old time characteristics extend to the tone, Gibson-like with a nice midrange, a full range, plus it's extremely expressive. It's versatile yet fans of Robert Johnson style country blues and fingerstyle players will especially love this C10 35.

The scale length is a slightly shorter 24 7/8", and it has a wide 1 3/4" bone nut for comfortable playing. A great lap guitar, it's neither too large nor too small, and looks absolutely killer in Collings' impeccable Sunburst finish with a high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The Mahogany neck has a vintage-inspired profile, and African Rosewood fingerboard, 20 frets and a 14"-26" compound radius. A stellar player, it's also loaded with lovely appointments to give it a more traditional appearance, including Ivoroid binding, rosette, and bridge pins, a cool Tigerstripe pickguard, unbound Haircut-style headstock, mother of pearl dot inlays, Nickel Waverly tuners and Ivoroid buttons.

The Collings C10 35 SB is an exceptional guitar and here's your chance to play (and own) the very first one. Includes hardshell case and full setup by our experienced luthiers.

"This C10 35 is really expressive with nice mid-range - I love the Gibson-y vibe." - Eric Mardis
