This used Collings C10 Custom Burst, serial# 19615, was built in 2012, and is in Excellent condition with only minimal playwear. The C10 has a smaller upper bout and narrow waist, with a 14 3/4" lower bout, making it comfortable for any player. It has impeccable clarity and a really nice, well-focused low end. This C10 has a select Sitka Spruce burst top, Mahogany back and sides, and an Ebony fingerboard that all complement one another for a genuinely gorgeous instrument - both aesthetically and sonically.
The Mahogany neck has a Medium-Fat C-shaped profile that's comfortable for prolonged playing, and is a great guitar for electric guitarists looking to switch it up. Here with a slightly shorter scale (24 7/8"), it has an incredibly warm tone, and the 1 3/4" nut width is great for any hand size. It's also loaded with eye-catching extras, like its ivoroid rosette, the tortoise-style pickguard, black/white wood purfling and 1-style walnut backstrip, and grained ivoroid binding.
This guitar has a few custom options including a cut-through Ebony saddle with 2 1/4" string spacing rather than the standard 2 3/16", as well as an Ebony belly-style bridge. The Collings C10 Custom with Burst is an all-around spectacular guitar, and at only two years old has many, many years left in it. Includes the original hardshell case.
