This used 2012 Collings D1A VN Custom, serial# 20453, showcases the outstanding sound, playability, and craftsmanship that Collings is know for. Here with an Adirondack Spruce top and Mahogany back and sides, it has a remarkably dynamic and balanced tone. This custom also has Adirondack bracing and no tongue brace, which reduces the top's mass and lets the soundboard resonant a bit more freely.

The Mahogany neck has the Collings Vintage Now profile, slightly larger than its standard shape, but not quite as chunky as some larger vintage Martin necks. It has a 1 3/4" bone nut, a 25 1/2" scale length, and a belly-style Ebony bridge with a  2 5/16" string spacing. The high gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish looks great, and the Tortoise-style pickguard and binding really brings it all together. A fully loaded guitar in Excellent+ condition, this Collings D1A VN Custom sounds tremendous and exceeds expectations in every way. It's a great option to save some dough on a lifetime guitar. Includes original hardshell case.
