This Collings 290 DC S electric is spectacular. It's elegant in its simplicity, yet is a total rocker—loaded with one amazingly versatile Custom Lollar dogear P-90 pickup. The Vintage White nitrocellulose lacquer finish, showing the grain, is set off beautifully with a tortoise style pickguard and black truss rod cover. This has a Custom Collings wraparound bridge, Gotoh tuners with ivoroid buttons and features '50s style wiring. All the details we've come to love about the Collings build technique are here in spades. Both an homage and an innovation, this is a heck of a player with an all Mahogany body, 1 11/16" nut width, and perfect heft at an even 7 pounds. Sustain is fantastic, playability superb. This Collings 290 DC S comes with a hard case as well.
