This used, 2011 Collings I-35 LC semi-hollow has some unique custom attributes and is a perfect blend of classic thinline features with Colling's impeccable design and craftsmanship. It features a laminate Maple semi-hollow body in a natural blonde nitro finish. Its neck is Mahogany, and its fingerboard is Rosewood, making it a comfortable, fast-playing, versatile guitar. Perfect for jazz and blues licks, it doubles just as well as a kickass rocker. The original pickups have been replaced with two ThroBak PG-102 Peter Greens, giving it a rich and thick tone and great clarity, that are totally worth the extra cost.
Additionally, the bridge has been replaced with an Area '59 lightweight tailpiece. A 3-way Switchcraft toggle switch lets you choose between pickups with ease, and two Volume and two Tone knobs give you full reign over the guitar's amazing sound and versatility. This was a professionally played instrument and is in Excellent condition, with some minor playwear. The frets have some wear but play very well with plenty of life left—after all, Collings guitars are in it for the long haul. This customized Collings I-35 LC is a superb instrument and an undeniable joy to play. We'll be a little sad to see it go.
