This Collings Ladybird takes the Collings build quality and engineering prowess and focuses it on a whole new realm of vintage guitar. Featuring a fully hollow poplar body paired with a poplar neck, this is a warm, subtle guitar that can take on everything from a shoegaze-y, lush reverb vibes to an Americana/roots edge-of-break up sound. Due to the Collings reengineered, vintage-inspired '60s design, this new model has a quick decay to the note, with a full punchy attack that makes it a real joy to play. Every choice, from the use of poplar to the rosewood bridge and fingerboard help to accentuate the unique tonal qualities of this Collings build.

Here with a pair of custom-voiced Righteous Sound Cathedral pickups, that deliver a modern take on that classic '60s catalogue gold-foil sound. The appointments, including the black subtly antiqued finish and leopard binding, paired with the bold pickguard and pickup inserts make for a truly wild new Collings vibe.

Sporting a set of D'Addario flatwounds to further accentuate that tone, they can certainly be swapped and setup with roundwounds thanks to our in-house team of luthiers. Includes the original hardshell case.
