This 2004 Brazilian Collings 000-42 is a testament to the skill and craftsmanship we've seen time and time again from the Collings team. Featuring a German spruce top, in a Tobacco sunburst fininsh, paired with a AAA-Grade Brazilian back and sides that looks lovely. Sporting Abalone purfling and 42-style appointments that are both tasteful and elegant, and work well on this body style. A Rich, full sound that in no way is overpowering and works well for more subtle fingerstyle and flat-picking.

Here with minimal fretwear, and a little swirling to the finish. The pickguard was applied after the fact, but from the looks of the guard probably shipped with the guitar from Collings. A few minor finish dents here and there. There is a small nick in the back of the headstock (see photos). Includes a Canadian-era Calton Case which was provided to Collings by the original owner.
