This used 2008 Collings MF5 mandolin is an expressive, dynamic instrument that with an excellent feel and woody chop. Here with a premium Adirondack spruce top that delivers a beautiful, punchy tone, with an easy responsiveness to the pick attack that makes it a joy to play. The one-piece maple back is absolutely stunning, and you can really feel it resonate when playing the instrument. 

With a full gloss nitrocellulose finish, and the classic burst, this is an elegant player that's itching to drop into a fiddle tune or to belt out that bluegrass number. Here with minor playwear, most notably a scratch near the lower point. Moderate fretwear. Includes the original hardshell case.
