Fingerstyle players as well as flatpickers have found the Collings OM2H to be their preferred guitar thanks in large part to its great response, balanced tone and slightly shallower, comfortable body depth (4 1/8") - and this particular one, serial #23598, is a truly beautiful example. We chose no tongue brace for this guitar, lightening it up and letting the top resonate just a tad more. This also has a roomier 1 3/4" nutwith with 2 5/16" string spacing making for a comfortable player that you can easily dig into when needed.
The Sitka Spruce top and East Indian Rosewood back and sides both have Collings' great high gloss nitro cellulose finish and there are some great appointments here, including ivoroid top and back body binding, an Ebony belly bridge, diamond and square fretboard inlay and the Herringbone trim and matching 2 Style backstrip. It's all here in this beautiful Collings OM2H - a versatile guitar built for the generations. A hard case and full set up from our luthiers is included.
