This Custom Shop Grand Performance is a stellar standout build, draped in eye-catching aesthetics and powerful tone. Featuring a pair of exceptional tonewoods that lend this build to a distinct voice: a High-Altitude Swiss Spruce top paired with flamed Big Leaf Maple back & sides. The spruce being subject to harsher conditions and shorter growing seasons results in a tighter grain pattern that has a mellower, sweeter voice that responds fast, perfect for fingerstyle or other intimate forms of playing. The Big Leaf Maple plays a crucial supportive role, supplying a strong fundamental and body to buttress the delicate nature of the top. With such gorgeous tone, it's a testament to the Custom Shop's reputation for zero compromises in look or sound.

Lookswise, this guitar pulls out all the stops sporting Paua Pearl 45-style purflings rosettes, hexagon inlays and flamed maple body, neck, and headplate binding, as well as gold hardware down to the bridge pins. All presented in Excellent condition since its inception in 2024, with just a few small marks around the sound hole, invisible unless seen at a perfect angle. A showpiece of the highest caliber from Martin's top of the line craftsman, comes with the original hardshell case.
