Cusack Effects - Tap-A-Whirl Tremolo V3 (silver)
The Cusack Tap-A-Whirl Tremolo Pedal V3 is the third iteration of one of our favorite analog tremolo pedals with a built-in Tap Tempo, and now features 24 predefined waveforms, a stereo output, and a tap jack. This really is a pedal with a ridiculous amount of options via its five controls: Option, Level, Rate, Depth, and Wave. It also has two toggle switches: a Bank switch to go between its presets, and a Mode switch between Live and Preset, by which you can prevent recording over any presets.
The Option knob functions depending on what your other settings are - from how your tap will be divided, to an up-to-four-second fade, to a "brake speed" function. Level adjusts the output level of the left input - the internal volume handles the right output when used in stereo mode. Rate controls the speed of the tremolo effect. Depth controls how deep the tremolo effect goes. And Wave lets you select between eight preset effects per bank, and with three banks you get 24 separate waveforms, including sine, ramp, blip, bleep, square, waver, echo, and ping pong.
An incredibly versatile tremolo pedal, you have a near-endless amount of sounds and variations at your fingertips - and feet. The Cusack Tap-A-Whirl Tremolo Pedal V3 also has an internal jumper that allows you to change from a mono to stereo output.
