Straight out of Broomfield, Colorado, this Don Grosh ElectraJet Mary Kaye Sonic Blue is one of the line's early models, dating to 2008. The serial number is #033 and it's in Mint condition. The soft-spoken nitrocellulose lacquer finish over the near-baby blue looks great on its incredibly resonant Alder body, and it weighs a comfortable 7lb, 9 oz. If you're going for speed, the smooth, satin-finished Maple neck, Indian Rosewood fingerboard, and 10” radius certainly won't hurt. And if that weren't enough, its sound is impeccable, going through two Fralin P90s that offer the flexibility to achieve the tone you're aiming for. Overall, this Don Grosh ElectraJet Sonic Blue feels great, sounds great—is great.
