The EathQuaker Devices - Erupter Fuzz is a brilliantly designed, one-knob fuzz that gives a player much more than expected. Usually with a one knob pedal most of the time the only way to set it is full-on, cranked to 11. Not the Erupter. This thing has nuance to your fuzz tone at every setting. 12 o'clock is full and rich, and the best starting place for humbuckers or single-coils. Pull it back to get a thin, spit-y crackle that sounds like your amp is malfunctioning in the best way. 3 o'clock does the wooly thing really well, and full-on dime'd is a sound akin to massive destruction. If you know EarthQuaker Devices you are aware that this thing has more going for it than meets the eye.
