The EarthQuaker Devices - Hoof Reaper Fuzz V2 is a combo of all the favs from the hand-built pedal company in Akron, OH. Start with the Hoof, EQD's flagship, no-fuss, muff-style dirt box that produces warm and versatile sustain with it's germanium/silicon hybrid design. Any setting sounds heavy and saturated with all the right sounding, amp-pushing fuzzy goodness. With the Tone Reaper we have a Tone Bender style circuit that can reach any sound from thin and spitty to fat and lumbering. Stacking these two creates a monstrous effect, sounding like an array of amps set to 11. The middle switch kicks in an octave above effect that even adds another level of sonic mayhem. All settings and combinations sound great as you would expect from EarthQuaker... Just dial it in to your metal heart's content.
