The Eastman AR580CE HB Archtop is a tremendous player, beautifully crafted and this one is in practically-new Mint condition. Featuring a carved Spruce top and laminated Flamed Maple back and sides, it's a little slimmer than a traditional archtop (at 2 9/16" depth it's more like a Pisano signature), but it has all the volume and tone you'd want and expect. This has an elegant Venetian cutaway and gorgeous honeyburst finish with Maple binding throughout, a three-piece Maple neck, Ebony fingerboard and that great nitro lacquer finish Eastman is known for.
This 580 has a 25" scale, 20 frets, and a slightly leaner 1.71" nut width than most of its other archtops. It's an incredibly comfortable guitar to play - perfect for jazzy licks and quick chord changes. A single mounted Kent Armstrong humbucker gives you plenty of tonal possibilities: crisp cleans, light breakup, and full-on rock. This is a nice opportunity to save some real money on a spectacular guitar, the Eastman AR508CE HB Archtop. Includes original hardshell case too.
