This used Epiphone Limited Edition G-400 is in Very Good condition, especially considering being eight years old - and the epitome of rock guitars. The since-discontinued Alpine White finish is on a solid Mahogany body and neck with a SlimTaper D profile - it's just screaming to be shredded on, but if rhythm is more your style, then this is an absolute must for that muted chugga-chugga-chug tone. Made popular by the likes of Toni Iommi and Angus Young, the SG is almost as much an attitude as it is guitar - and this guitar has plenty of attitude.
With dual EMG humbuckers (an 85 in the neck and an 81 in the bridge) you have plenty of tonal options, particularly when you need some extra warmth and power in your riffage. But the highs here cut just as cleanly for soloing. There are a few small dings in the body - as you might expect from such a rocker - but it plays incredibly, sounds great and is overall super clean. This Epiphone Limited Edition G-400 would be a killer addition to someone's axis of axes. Case not included, but add in a gig bag for just a bit more.
