30 years on, the Axis has defined the quintessential shred guitar and this commemoration is a pinnacle example of its excellence. 1 of 100 made in this color for the anniversary, this model dons a signature translucent red over a quilt maple top, delivering absolutely eye watering aesthetics. The back on initial look seems to be a solid black, but upon further inspection is a glistening black red sparkle that shines elegantly in the right light. Matching headstock and a highly figured Birdseye Maple neck & fingerboard, as well as cream binding take this look even further.

Continuing its legacy, this guitar is notable for its incredibly playability. With the contoured heel allowing access to all 22 frets, the signature Music Man neck feel with a radius of 10", and high profile frets, it is just a joy to go all over with. The basswood body is perfectly balanced and lends itself to long playing sessions with ease.
