This used Fender Starcaster is from one of its first years of production, 1975, and as rare as they are they're making something of a comeback - and this is your chance to own one of the originals. Here with a semi-hollow body with dual f-holes, it's made entirely from Maple for a great-sounding guitar with loads of sustain and a distinct crispness in its tone. When other semi-hollow guitars opted for set-necks, the Starcaster yields a three-bolt joint, giving it that twangy sharpness for which Fender is known. Implementing dual Seth Lover Wide Range humbuckers was Fender's way of breaking its image as a single-coil-only guitar-maker, and they sound superb, offering a noticeable warmth not often heard through a Fender.
The Starcaster has 22 frets, a 22 1/2" scale, hardtail bridge with adjustable saddles, Fender-Schaller sealed tuners on its unique, curved headstock, and a three-way toggle switch between humbuckers, a Master Volume, and individual Volume and Tone knobs for the pickups. All-in-all a stellar guitar, an original Fender Starcaster doesn't come around often, so check this one out while it's still available. In Very Good condition, it does have light finishing-cracks, and oxidation to the humbuckers, but it still plays and sounds amazing. Also includes its original case with orange lining.
