This used Fender American Vintage '62 Jaguar is from 1996-'97 and absolutely phenomenal - the perfect surf guitar, but also great for rock and jazz. Made with an Alder body, it has a Maple neck and Rosewood fretboard that are flawless and incredibly comfortable to play. It's got two Special Design American Vintage Jaguar single-coil pickups that are similar to a strat tone-wise, but with the inclusion of a "keeper" that increases the current of the coil and reduces any hum. It has the standard Volume and Tone controls and the classic individual on/off switches for the pickups, as well as rotary volume wheels for even more tonal versatility.

The shorter 24" scale helps lower the action and makes it even more playable, and the all-chrome hardware and iconic Sunburst finish perfectly complement each other for a great-looking guitar. Here in Excellent condition, it has a little playwear, most noticeably some buckle rash on the back and two quite small dings -one on the back and one on the side of the treble side, lower bout. The frets are really clean. It also has the period-correct string-dampener for constant palm muting. An awesome guitar at every turn, this Fender American Vintage '62 Jaguar includes the original Fender hardshell case too.
