This vintage Fender Amps - 1962 Brown Super 6G4 is a rare and desirable amp from the early history of Fender due to its unique look and complex circuit. Featuring the 'Harmonic Vibrato' channel as lauded in Fender marketing materials at the time, this effect is unique to this era of Fender circuits and is sometimes referred to as 'Harmonic Tremolo.' This effect has inspired a recent craze in boutique pedal builders as they seek to emulate the 4 triode effect.

Running at 35 Watts this Brown Tolex Super sports a part of 'custom designed' 10" Oxford 10K5 speakers. Freshly serviced with a grounded 3-prong power cord and a full compliment of new tubes. Both the transformers and serial number date the amp to 1962, the pre-CBS era of Fender construction. The grill cover does have a bit of a two tone sun fade going on as well.
