This Fender Amps - 1964 Champ - Transitional Black Tolex is an interesting amp that spans two different Fender eras. The chassis and electronics date to 1958, however the cabinet and tolex date to the transitional 1963-64 era of Champ builds. The speaker has been replaced with an 8" Jenson speaker, which breaks up nicely and sounds great. Whether it's a late '50s or early '60 Champ has us scratching our heads, but it has all the mojo and tone that made the 5F1 circuit famous.
