The Fender Coronado Bass returns, and it's seriously better than before. Originally debuting in the '60s (and favored by Radiohead among others), this new incarnation of the Coronado sports an Alder centerblock and is loaded with two Fideli'Tron humbucker pickups. The semi-hollow laminated Maple body is very sharp looking with two bound f-holes and body binding. The neck feels fantastic here - a C shaped Maple neck, 9.5" radius, 1.625" nutwidth and noticeably nice finish work on the frets. Pearloid block inlays, Adjusto-matic bridge and F trapeze tailpiece - very nice all around and you can't beat the price for all that you're getting here. The Fender Coronado Bass is a force to be reckoned with.
