This Fender Electric Guitars - 1966 Mustang here in the Dakota Red finish option, bring the classic '60s vibe to what was originally thought of as a student model. Featuring the iconic Mustang dual single coil slant-mounted pickups, along with independent switch controls, this guitar has that vintage Fender tone, in a smaller, lighter package. Original 1966 pickups and electronics. The original finish, on both the neck and the body, is in incredibly good shape. Some very light checking, dents, and sinkage into the wood, and there is a little bit of buckle rash on the back (see photos). An amazingly well-taken care of vintage Fender. Includes original hardshell case. Serial# 127753
