This 1990 Stratocaster Plus is a great example of how far one can take a tried and true formula such as the Stratocaster and turn it into something that reaches for new heights.

Starting out in 1987 standing next to their Custom Shop in quality, the Strat Plus was introduced, featuring the now legendary Lace Sensor pickups and Wilkinson roller nut. Lace Sensors are renowned for their ability to pickup even greater string characteristics than typical pickups and reject unwanted signal noise, making the signal-to-noise ratio unheard of in a single-coil design. The Wilkinson roller nut seeks to solve tuning stability, especially when utilizing the tremolo arm, and it does so magnificently.

This one comes in a beautifully aged Surf Green finish in Very Good condition, featuring only a few indentations on the body, impressively taken care of for its age. The original pickguard has been replaced with a pearloid guard, which was the style for the Strat Plus pickguards from later in 1990s. Moderate fretwear (see photo) Includes the original Fender molded hardshell case.
