This used Fender FSR Standard Jazz Bass, here in Near Mint condition, is from a limited Fender Special Run in 2013, and features a natural finish, beautifully grained Ash body, rather than the standard Alder. The Ash helps give the bass an even more impressive low-end growl that you can't quite get from the normal Standard. This J bass is also one of the most versatile you can play - the dual Single-Coil Jazz Bass pickups are an excellent choice for jazz tunes of course, but are equally suitable for rock. A full-sized 34" scale with 20 frets on its Rosewood fingerboard is as smooth as it gets, and the Maple Modern C-shaped neck is a cinch to play on.
At barely a year old, this Jazz bass has only very minor wear on the pickguard - other than that, it looks and plays as though it's never seen the light of day. This Fender FSR Standard Jazz Bass has since been discontinued, and won't last long at this price. Case is not included, but a Mass Street Music Bass Gigbag is available.
