This limited edition 2020 Fender Custom Shop Double Esquire Thinline Custom, here in Relic'd Aged Black Paisley finish, is a vintage-inspired tele with some serious style. Featuring a Roasted Pine body, sporting a pair of hand wound '50-'51 blackguard pickups, wired in a modded Nocaster setup delivering a handful of '50s Fender sounds. Position 1 delivers the bridge pickup, with the option to blend in the neck pickup via what would be the tone control. Position 2 is the neck pickup wired directly to the volume pot, no tone pot to color your sound. Position 3 is the neck pick up with a dark vintage circuit for added versatility in this Nocaster build. Also included in the case is the more straightfoward 3-way control plate, switch and pots, with the classic volume and tone controls. Here in very good condition with minimal fretwwear this thineline is a stellar limited edition build from the Fender Custom Shop. Includes the original hardshell case.
