This vintage 1954 ES-175 is a fantastic guitar showcasing the venerable early '50s P90, delivering classic jazz archtop tones. Laminate maple construction under a gorgeously clean blonde nitro finish that has aged to vintage perfection over the past 70 plus years. Dating back to the Ted McCarty era at Gibson, this P-90-equipped archtop delivers a tone that can only be described as classic: bright with a superb P-90 bark, yet still retaining impeccable warmth. Incredibly versatile, this guitar particularly excels at those '50s jazz sounds that just cut through the mix with a bell-like quality.

This ES-175 is in Excellent condition for its age, with only a few scuffs to the headstock area, and dents to the heel, along with some classic finish checking along the body which has been kept impeccably well. Gorgeous, and shining bright with vintage vibes that produce some of the most sought-after sounds in guitardom, this is a special treat. Includes the original hardshell case.
