This 1967 Gibson ES-335 is the sort of vintage classic that always turns heads here at the shop, and this guitar delivers the tone to go with the iconic looks. The nitrocellulose Cherry finish has aged into a dark, red hue and hosts typical playwear with just the right amount of vintage checking. The rosewood fingerboard is complemented by the small block inlays and looks incredible. The 1 9/16" nut width is consistent with the standard width of this era 335. The neck profile measures .821" at the first fret and .997" at the 12th - a much more comfortable, fuller profile than the later '60s super-slim Gibson necks

The patent number Gibson humbuckers bring that classic, bitey mid range with a level of brightness and output to cut well. Even unplugged this semi-hollow is loud and bright sounding, you can feel it resonating with the first strum. The original patent number humbuckers are here with the original pots that date to early '67.

Here in Very Good condition, there is corrosion on some of the hardware, particularly the bridge, but nothing that impedes the functionality of the instrument. A few dents are present on the back of the neck and fingerboard before the third fret. Typical playwear and buckle rash is present amongst the whole guitar, giving it a naturally relic'd look that screams vintage. Overall, a fantastic example of '60s Gibson craftsmanship that defined rock n' roll in the decades to come. Comes with the original hardshell case.
