This Gold Top 1975 Les Paul Deluxe is an all-original '70s rock machine in stunningly clean condition. Donning the venerable Gold Top with complementary aesthetics such as cream binding, pickguard, and pickup casings, this guitar has that '50s vibe on tap. A 2-piece Mahogany body with the Maple top, three-piece Mahogany neck, and a Rosewood fingerboard give this build loads of sustain and a substantial feel in the hands, weighing in at 10.4 lbs
The mid-70s Deluxe title indicates the inclusion of dual Mini-Humbuckers, retaining the hum-free characteristics of its full-size sibling, but with a distinctive punch and brightness all its own. Here in Excellent condition, with just a couple marks to the lower bout of the top and some on the back edges, an incredible feat for a 50+ year old instrument. Our shop recently completed a refret and PLEK dress, making this Les Paul an incredible player.
The original pickups had been swapped out at some point in the past, and have been reinstalled by our shop. Both pickup leads had previously been shortened, with the neck being later lengthened. In order to preserve solder joints and overall original status to the cover and pickup, our shop has left the leads as is. Perfectly functional and ready to play with its original voice.
Overall, a rather rare '70s Les Paul that sounds great, plays better than new and is in impeccable condition. Ready for the stage and as the centerpiece of your collection. Comes with a replacement Gibson hardshell case.
