This 2014 Les Paul Custom Shop Long Scale is a unique offering from the Gibson Custom Shop, perfect for down tuning and for players who prefer tighter tension in their strings. Increasing to a 25.5" scale length, up from the traditional 24.75", offers up increased clarity in the note definition and plenty of snap over a standard LP while the dual Gibson Custom Buckers retains the same PAF midrange-y tone that has defined rock music since the '50s.

A mahogany neck with a '59 fat, round profile, 1 11/16" nut width, and a cream bound Indian rosewood fingerboard with pearloid split parallelogram inlays looks great and plays fast. The body, weighing in at 9.03 lbs, feels solid and resonant, perfect for the fullness you'll need for down tuned riffs and chords. In absolutely Excellent condition, this guitar shines as bright as when it came off the line, featuring only slight play wear to the pickguard. A rare, Custom Shop run of an all-time classic that affords a different sound and ability than the standard fare that LPs offer. Comes with the original Custom hardshell case.
