From the Gibson Custom Shop, this R9 is Gibson's meticulous take on the now iconic 1959 Les Paul Standard.  From laser-scanned dimensions to chemically-recreated plastics to color-matched shades, the R9 is the product of decades of work to craft a guitar that lived up to the '59 Bursts of the past. A figured maple top on a mahogany body, adorned in a VOS Dirty Lemon Burst finish, it's got the looks, as well as the sound. Equipped with CustomBucker Alnico III pickups, the PAF-inspired tone is unmistakeable with rich, warm lows and articulate highs.

From 2025, this example has arrived here in Excellent condition, with minimal fretwear and no markings that can be distinguished from the beautiful aged finish already found on the guitar. An opportunity to own one of the most faithful recreations at a fantastic price. Comes with the original hardshell case.
