This Gibson 1962 ES-335 is the sort of vintage classic that always turns heads here at the shop, and this guitar delivers the tone to go with the iconic looks.

The nitrocellulose Cherry finish is bright and original, with very minor wear and just the right amount of vintage checking. The Brazilian rosewood fingerboard is complemented by the small block inlays and looks incredible. The PAF pickups sound deliver that classic early Gibson humbucker sound. Even unplugged this semi-hollow is loud and bright sounding, you can feel it resonating with the first strum.

Like any vintage instrument, this 335 was examined and authenticated by our shop and turned out to be a really lovely example of this 1962 build. There is evidence of corrosion on the hardware and pickup covers, but nothing that impedes the functionality of the instrument. The original PAF pickups are here with the original pots that date to early '62. There are a few pickup ring mounting screws that have been replaced, and we swapped a replacement jack that had been installed at some point with a correct switchcraft replacement jack. The bridge has been replaced with an era-appropriate Gibson bridge, the original bridge is included with two broken saddles in the case.
