This used Gibson LC-1 Cascade is a really nice acoustic guitar with a slightly slimmer body and slight cutaway for easier access to its upper 20 frets. Here with a solid Cedar top and solid Quilted Maple back and sides, it looks great and sounds even better. It has a nice, warm tone with clear highs, punchy mids, and resounding lows. The tone and size make this a perfect guitar for fingerstyle players as well as blues and old-time music fans.

The smaller body and shorter 24 3/4" scale help make this LC-1 really comfortable to play. It has a 1 11/16" nutwidth, a Maple neck, and a sharp looking black headstock with mother-of-pearl inlay. The Rosewood fingerboard is accented with mother-of-pearl dots and sets off the elegant Abalone soundhole rosette nicely. This Gibson LC-1 Cascade has a little wear, most notably a few minor dings to its top and there is some finish checking. It also had an after-market pickup installed at one time. Overall this LC-1 is in Very Good condition with a lifetime of playing ahead. Handmade in Montana in 2003, it includes its original hardshell case too.
