The Gibson Les Paul Classic Plus is the embodiment of arguably the most legendary guitar ever created, and this '99 used one, in Very Good condition is a prime example of why it's such a recognizable instrument. Built with a grade-AA Maple top and Mahogany back, it's got a sustain-loving heft to it (8 lb., 8 oz.) and it sounds as great as it looks. The Baked Maple fingerboard plays smoothly, and its comfortable 12" radius, 1.695" nut width, and '60s SlimTaper neck only make this an even tighter guitar to play. Two uncovered humbuckers with ceramic magnets (a 496R in the neck and a 500T in the bridge) give it plenty of punch and clarity, with additional warmth and lushness from the two-wood construction. With only a few minor dings overall, its tone and playability aren't affected. Most notable is a chip on the cutaway, and a few nicks in the body. There is some light fretwear, and a professionally repaired headstock crack (see photos). A classic for a reason, this Gibson Les Paul Classic Plus is about as iconic as it gets, and not just because of its looks - it sounds simply incredible. Original hard case included
