This Gibson Les Paul Jr. from 1963 can honestly be called an under the bed find. Came to us by way of the original owner along with the original sales receipt. The guitar has no, and I mean no, fret wear. The neck is straight and the bridge saddle height is perfect. The heel joint is tight without even the slightest finish checking. The body finish has ever so few scratches, notably a few finish cracks and a 2" finish chip on the back edge of the bass upper bout. The top corner of the pickguard is chipped off from shrinkage. The bottom corner is cracked but still intact. The guitar was not cleaned up to sell. It has rarely been out of the original alligator brown soft case. The staff says it plays and sounds as good as it looks. At 6 lb., 1 oz., it is light and balanced. Original case included. Serial# 144036.
